Multi-Cultural Winter Holiday Study!

To prepare for winter, the first graders learned about different winter holidays celebrated by people in America! We read books about them, did different crafts representing each holiday and even had a guest speaker.

We learned that although people celebrate different cultural holidays, there are many things in common! We learned that we should celebrate our differences because that's what make us special... But we also realized that deep down, we all have a lot in common!
